Join us for Sunday worship
Follow along with the words to every song in this morning’s service — whether you’re in the sanctuary or worshipping with us online.
Second Baptist Church is a faith community rooted in a rich history of spiritual growth, service, and commitment to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Since 1976 this church has been a place where individuals and families find guidance and support for the road they are actually walking.
Our life together turns on three things: worship that takes God seriously, outreach that takes our neighbors seriously, and relationships that outlast a Sunday morning. We are dedicated to making a lasting impact through acts of love, compassion, and service.
We keep growing and changing while staying steadfast in the mission — to nurture a legacy of faith for the generations coming behind us.
Dr. William Clark answered the call to ministry in 2006, was licensed to preach in 2009, and was ordained in 2016. In 2015 he planted Living Faith Church, where he led a growing congregation focused on discipleship and community impact. In March 2024 he became Senior Pastor of Second Baptist Church.
He holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership from Regent University and a Master of Leadership Development from Penn State University — a foundation in both theology and leadership that shows up in how he preaches and how he shepherds. A sought-after speaker and mentor, his leadership is marked by integrity, purpose, and a commitment to a vibrant church community.
Dr. Clark lives in Connecticut with his wife and their three children.
